Q:   Do you allow pets?
A:   We love our pets too, but due to the food and beverage on site, we can not welcome your pet.

Q:   Is there going to be ice skating?
A:    Yes, there is a state of the art ice skating rink.  You have to see it to believe it!!

Q:   Is the building heated?
A:    Yes, the building is heated. 
 

Q:   Are there bathrooms?
A:    Yes, there are upscale full service bathrooms with running water and the works!  

Q:   What do I need for entry?
A:    $5 to enter includes all you can taste chili (under age 3 is free).  Additional $20 includes beer/wine tasting from a commemorative tasting glass.  Cash or credit accepted.

Q:   Do you accept checks?
A:    Sorry, we can not accept checks.

Q:   Can I take my wine or beer glass outside and enjoy the other activities?
A:   Yes!  You can take your food or drink anywhere within the large gated area of the Festival.  Walk around and enjoy!

Q:   I hear CASI sanctioned chili cook off is going to be there!  Is that true?
A:   Yes, if you would like to cook on site and compete with CASI you can!  Many prizes to be won with this division.

Q:   I am interested in competing with chili but I prefer not to cook on site.  Does this option exist?
A:   Yes, you can cook from hom and arrive with your chili.  Feel free to promote your business, association or non profit. It's a great marketing opportunity. Or you can drop off your chili and the Festival volunteers will serve it for you.

Q:   How do we taste the chili?
A:    We planned to have Tostitos Scoops, but the logistics of 110,000 scoops for Frito Lay was a tall order.  So we have improvised this year with paper tasting cups; with the plan to return to the Scoops option next year.  We are sure we'll have them in 2013!  

Q:   Are there things to do for families and couples?
A:    Yes, the Festival focuses on having fun things to see and do for all ages.

Q:   Are there other activities going on around Estes Park?
A:    Yes, there is a Town scavenger hunt with fabulous prizes.  Estes Park always has lots of winter activities no matter what weekend.....Cross country skiing, hiking, sledding, relaxing spas, exquisite dining, cool shops, indoor rock climbing, fishing, downtown art walk, and SO much more!  

Q:   What activities are extra outside of the $5 entry and $20 wine/beer tasting?
A:    Ice skating - $1 per skate, pony rides - $5 per person, horse & carriage ride - $5 per person.

Q:   Is there going to be a petting zoo?
A:    Yes, including a camel!  

Q:   Is there good cell phone coverage?
A:    AT&T and T-Mobile works best in Estes Park.

Q:   Will there be wifi?
A:    Yes, there will be free wifi for the event, sponsored by Estes Park Winter Festival.
